Configure Windows 10 Mail app
Currently, the inbuilt mail app in Windows 10 does not support setting up Surftown accounts automatically. If you want to set up a mail account on a Surftown webhotel to work with Windows 10 Mail, you can follow this guide.
1.Open the Mail app and click the gear icon in the lower left corner.
The menu is opened in the upper right side of the app.
3.Click Add Account.
4.Click Advanced Setup.
5.Click Internet email.
6.Insert your mail information.
The account name and incoming mailserver should be changed to fit with your email and domain. We recommend using the account type IMAP, and not POP3, since IMAP allows you to download mail from several devices, where POP3 does not. The mail server should be mail.surftown.com.
7.Enter user name and password.
The user name must always be the email address. This is what your mailprogram will use to log into the mailserver. The password is the one you chose for the mail account when it was created in the Surftown.com controlpanel.
8.Enter outgoing mail server information.
Check the Outgoing Server requires authentication, and Use the same user name and password for sending email boxes. Check the Require SSL boxes as well. Finally click Sign-in.
9.Click Done after the account has been successfully signed into.
The mail account will now appear in Windows 10 Mail, working as any other mail account.
