Restoring an expired domain

When a domain name is expired, the renewal invoice will be cancelled. After this happens, you will still be able to order a restore through the Surftown's Dashboard. This is usually possible for up to 60 days, but it may vary depending on the domain type.

Domain restores may result in an extra fee, depending on the domain type. The price of restoring various domain types is listed in the price list.

If the domain is no longer in the list then it may no longer be possible to restore it. If this happens, please contact us so that we can se which options are available to you.

Please note, that .dk domains cannot be restored through Surftown. If your DK Domain has been expired, you will need to contact DK Hostmaster in order to renew it.

1. Click Domains -> Restore Domain.

2. Click the Restore button next to your domain name, and then complete the order process.

Once payment has been processed, it usually takes about two hours before the domain is online again.
