How do I configure my DNS settings? Surftown can do it for you!

While Surftown web hotels, with the exception of our Domain & DNS product, include both website and e-mail functionality, there are times when you may want to configure your domain to use something other than Surftown's standard configured settings.

This could for example be when you want to use an Office 365 email solution, or if you have made a website on a service that is not on your pre-configured server. In these cases, you will usually be asked by that provider to add one or more DNS records to your domain and remove the current ones. This can be done through your control panel for all your domains with Surftown.

The DNS settings handles the connections to your domain so with an update of these there is often some downtime involved.

What we offer with this Service Desk is to do the update for you, and to verify that the DNS records are entered correctly into your control panel. This way the necessary downtime can be kept to a minimum. All we need from you is a list of the DNS records you have been asked to add.
